Sorrento is an entrance to the many sights of the Campaniaregion. It is very easy to reach Sorrentofrom Pompeiior Naples, as it located at the south-eastern end of the Circumvesuviana rail line. A lot viewpoints in the city let see the sights of Naples, Vesuvius and the historic city of Pompeii, the islandof Capriand Positano.

The narrow road Amalfi Drive connecting Amalfi and Sorrentoand stretches along the high cliffs above the Tyrrhenian Sea.
