Sorrento is an entrance to the many sights of the Campaniaregion. It is very easy to reach Sorrentofrom Pompeiior Naples, as it located at the south-eastern end of the Circumvesuviana rail line. A lot viewpoints in the city let see the sights of Naples, Vesuvius and the historic city of Pompeii, the islandof Capriand Positano.

The narrow road Amalfi Drive connecting Amalfi and Sorrentoand stretches along the high cliffs above the Tyrrhenian Sea. Sorrento is also famous for the production of an alcoholic digestive Limoncello, made from lemon peels, alcohol, sugar and water. Other famous agricultural products include citrus fruit, wine, nuts and olives.

As a good souvenir you can buy inlaid woodwork, intarsia, created in anything from nice small boxes to furniture or handmade embroidery and silk work or splendid jewelry from cameos and corals or ceramics from the Amalfi coastline.
