General conditions of school in Sorrento

For enrolling, it is necessary to complete and signed the appropriate form that we will send you on your demand. The enrolment form must be accompanied by a deposit equal to 30% of the full amount (course and accommodation costs) and a photocopy of the first page of your passport. After the receiving your application and payment we will forward the confirmation of registration. The final payment must be settled within three days after student’s arrival.
Deadline for your payment is three weeks before the course start.

Apartment reservations

Accommodation offers are valid during 1 week after we e-mail the notification to a student.
Students are obligated to inform the host family or landlord directly about the exact time of arrival in Sorrento. Students must organize the meeting to receive the apartment’s keys. Our school disclaims any responsibility if the student does not contact the landlord at least 24 hours before arrival. All necessary information about accommodation and contacts is provided with the accommodation booking.

Fees in case of cancellation:

72 Euro +bank transfer costs if cancellation for the course of Italian language with duration of 1 to 4 weeks was made more than 21 days before arrival.
250 Euro +bank transfer costs if cancellation for the course of Italian language with duration from 4 weeks and longer was made more than 21 days before arrival.

Not refund if the school is informed about cancellation less than 21 days before arrival.

Students that cancel courses at the last minute are still obligated to pay the full amount for the course and accommodation they have reserved.

Course interruption:

Enrolling for a course means that a student has to attend it regularly. You cannot ask any refund if you miss lessons, arrive over 10 minutes after the class has started, or if you decide to finish your course and/or your stay in Italy earlier or delay the start of the course.

We recognize only the cancellations that were sent by registered mail.
The minimum number of students in group is three. The duration of the lessons for groups with less than three participants will be reduced from 4 to 2 hours.

Insurance

We advise our students to take out medical insurance in their own country before departing.

Behavior

Should students demonstrate clearly abnormal behavior or inappropriate intentions, the school reserves the right to ban them from the classes at any time and without refund.
